 Paul Devers was born in the art and photography capital of the world, New York City. Therefore, it was no surprise that he saved up his allowance to buy his first camera (a Keystone 110) when he was 7 years old. He continued to take pictures over the years, but did not become serious about photography until going to college. While dating a working fashion model, he became particularly interested in fashion photography. Medical school put photography on the "back burner," but upon completing his general medicine residency, he began to pursue, with the help of his wife, photography like never before. Portraits of nature and landscapes, led to portraits of wildlife, which led him back to portraits of people, his original interest in photography. Today, Paul and his wife, Sherri, have opened their own studio and are not only working in the portrait and modeling photographic business, but are working on applying their photographic knowledge and equipment into saving lives through medical photography. We have also bought a professional photographic printer to completely manage our photographic works in-house for better results and complete privacy.
